I would like to say thank you so very much for being
the two Guardian Angels at our wedding! Wow, what
an amazing day.
I'm so lucky to have had the absolute pleasure of
meeting you both thanks to my good friend Elani
Fox. You helped me so much, and you were both Godsends,
especially when it came to crunch time! I didn't
have to worry about a thing, knowing you were taking
care of all the details (big, small and those I
wasn't even aware of)
Everyone commented on it been such a well-run wedding
and that's thanks to you.

those anxious brides I speak to!

- Blush Bachelorette Party: 5th March 2011
Hi Claire & Penny,
Just a quick thank you for the wonderful job you
did with my friend Fiona’s Mad hatter bachelorette
party this past weekend. Not only was the weather
perfect, but so was the entire setup. Thanks for
suggesting Burkleigh House as a venue and for arranging
all the goodies for the tea party. I don’t
know what I would’ve done without you guys.
You will definitely come highly recommended should
anyone need to arrange a bachelorette party. Such
a pleasure to work with you guys and nothing was
too much trouble.

WOW!!! You guys were amazing!
I got married on 15th January 2011 and if it wasn’t
for the people behind the scenes, my special day
just would never have been that special.
We moved into a new house in Linksfield in Senderwood.
By chance, I walked into Blush Weddings as something
in their window display grabbed my attention.
I started talking to Claire, asking a few questions,
there and then, I made my decision to get these
wonderful people to help me plan my special day.
Blush Weddings also referred me to Sarah of Red
Dove Designs to help with invitations and all my
stationary needs.
Sarah – You are amazing! You have not only
done what I asked for, but so much more and you
really gave the wedding a special touch!
We started off with personalized buttons with a
man or woman figure and each guests name on it which
was attached to a massive lolly pop. We all landed
up putting the buttons on as nametags. We had standing
men and women figures as table numbers and menus
on each table and an awesome table seating plan
which was derived from the paper doll cut outs that
we used to make as kids, the order of service and
of course the colourful and fantastic invitations!
Everybody who attended my wedding said “Whoever
helped you with your wedding, really showed your
personality and has amazing ideas!”
Blush Weddings was not only there on our wedding
day, but contacted me all the time to see if I was
doing ok and that all was good. As from the beginning,
I sort of knew what I wanted, but Blush also made
it so much easier with all their ideas. The first
stress I had during my wedding planning came when
florist dropped me! But Penny recommended that Blush
do the flower arranging too. Blush Weddings put
together a few different table mock-up’s for
me to choose from. It had décor, Red Dove
Design stationary and flowers to make my decisions.
AWESOME! You were FANTASTIC Penny! She understood
every little detail I wanted and she made look even
better that what I had imagined.
I can go on for hours and hours about how amazing
my day was. If I had to find somebody else, I don’t
think my day would’ve been so AMAZING!
Blush Weddings did so much more than what I thought
I had paid for. You guys must absolutely value everything
you do. You will only grow and become so much more
successful in what you do.
As for Red Dove Designs – Sarah, you are such
a sweet person at hear, but your mind worked with
mine and we made it work with Blush Weddings too.
If anybody needs information on how to plan a SUPER
SPECIAL day, please contact these people, as they
are the BOMB!

Claudia's wedding in October 2010 was such an amazing
day, and wouldn't have been half as special without
the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses from Blush Weddings.
All the ladies at Blush went out of their way to
accommodate 3 bridesmaids and their bride to be,
finding the perfect style of dress, in the perfect
colour and ensuring they fit perfectly! Thank you
for making us beautiful!

Many of us will admit that as a little girl you
always fantasize about your big day and the dress
you think you will wear and all of those magical
moments you will have, however nowhere amongst
those exciting thoughts do you think about where
are you going to get your magical dress, the Cinderella
shoes you will walk down the aisle in or how are
you going to put this beautiful day together.
This is where Blush steps in to help you, when
you walk into their shop you feel as if you are
the princess, you can try on dresses to your heart's
content, which I did and I found my dream dress.
Penny and Claire were always on hand for useful
advice or an encouraging word. They have excellent
knowledge about colours and styles and fabrics
so when it came to my bridesmaids dresses I told
them what I would like and they came up with the
most exquisite suggestions.
I can honestly say that my wedding day was better
than anything I ever imagined and I would like
to thank Penny and Claire for everything they
did for my bridesmaids, the MOB (Mother-of-the-Bride)
and of course me, the bride.

From the moment I requested help from Blush Weddings,
Claire and Penny gave their all in making sure
every aspect of my wedding was going to be perfect.
They asked all the necessary questions, gave their
suggestions and their experiences and made an
effort to meet and liaise constantly with our
other service providers.
Their presence on the actual wedding day made
such a difference that my mom and I got to enjoy
the day without any of the stresses we had anticipated.

Dear Penny and Claire
Thank you to you both for all your hard work on
Saturday. I don’t know what we would have
done without you. Penny you really went out of your
way to make things stress free for me and Sam and
really went beyond the call of duty by ironing the
boy’s shirts and co coordinating the photographer
and the girls. Claire, Ryan said he would not have
coped without your help. The décor was perfectly
set up and everything just ran so smoothly. Once
again a Big Thank You.

Matric Dance October 2010
Wilhela Cushman, the Ladies' Journal's fashion editor
since 1937, once said: "Just around the corner
in every woman's mind - is a lovely dress, a wonderful
suit, or entire costume which will make an enchanting
new creature of her." It is easy to find just
any dress; it is so much harder to find the dress.
Not many people can say that they wore the exact
dress they had envisioned to their Matric Dance,
I'm one of the few privileged enough to say that
I did. What a stunning delight it was to be able
to work with Blushing Weddings. I discovered my
dress in one of the catalogues in their shop and
needless to say that the dress turned out, for lack
of a better word, perfectly, down to every last
detail. However, it was not only the end result
that made the process worthwhile, it was most definitely
due to the entire experience as well.
Claire and Penny made sure I was always up to speed
with all my appointments and showed continuous awe
at the outcome of the dress.
Liz, now she must have the magic touch. I still
wonder how she made each detail on the dress with
such precision (maybe it is better that I don't
know the answer to that!) and in the midst of having
her first child.
To Claire, Penny and Liz, all I can say is a big
thank you for all your time, effort and dedication.
By turning that corner in my mind with me I was
able to become that enchanting new creature, a young
lady, a princess. |
